What is galvanized mesh?
There are two ways to make galvanized welded mesh, galvanizing before welding (GBW) and galvanizing after welding (GAW).

GBW wire mesh
GBW wire mesh is the most economical choice. It is made of galvanized steel wires twisted together, and then the wires are welded together. Although the protective zinc layer is burned off during the welding process. But this means that the welded joints where the wires intersect are unprotected, which shortens its service life. GBW wire mesh is very suitable for small animal cages or other indoor uses.

GAW wire mesh

While electro-galvanized mesh uses electroplating technology to coat the surface of the welded wire mesh with a layer of zinc. The entire wire mesh, including the welded joints, is thoroughly covered and protected from corrosion and rust. So it is more durable than GBW wire mesh.
